Very nice build.

In P1020081, is that just the roof not secured on fully?

Anyway, what kind of temps do you get in the case?

Thanks guys

I have a resistor on the zalman(came with it) and at @stock the cpu is 30-31 @ 3.8 it is 42-43, the 3 big fans are on low and there is another resistor on the 120mm as i like a quiet as possible rig.

Yes that is with the roof off just to see the cables and all.

It is a fairly cool looking case I have it up for sale but not sure which card i will end up with before i do.

Always chopping and changing

what's the xeon like as I've never really heard how good they are?

There pretty much the same as the consumer equivalent, i cant speak for the i7 versions but the socket 771(they fitted in 775 fine) ones apparently got slightly lower/the same clocks but at better voltages and/or better temps as there stock clocked equivalents. Either way they tend to run a little lower voltages at stock thus lower heat output so better for tightly packed rack environments.

Update on the Graphics card I ordered a VTX3D 6970 dual fan cooler like pcs+ only red.

Finding the xeon good same as the 920D0 but a few differences as mentioned above i settled for a 3.33 stock voltage in BIOS but is nearer 3.5 on speccy.

I have never overclocked an intel before, i want to get it up to 4.0 and have but need to adjust so the extra .2 is not there perhaps the turbo boost?

I am gonna see how close the VTX3D id to the pcs+ and may flash the BIOS to the 940mhz core.

(see how goes)

I will be updating the pictures as soon as card is in and will clean it up and proper.

still no pictures? /yawn/ bored now.

LOL! There should be some greasy pics at the top with a 5830.

I have to update them, when the new card is in.

Oh and bought the Raven after TTL's review of the white one.(they only had black and didn't get the nzxt phantom

Got her stable @4.2 well after a few goes of IntelBurnTestV2 will try prime95 tomorrow. temps are 40-42 idle but went very high nudged 100 at one point I may have to bring her back to 4.0 or get a new cooler, any suggestions for the i7/xeons?

They are supposed to run a bit hotter but supposedly able to cope better with higher temps.
