my understanding with the corsair is that they offer compensation if the unit destroys your hardware so long as its the fault of the unit and not misuse. My experience with NZXT rma however is poor. I am trying to rma a 1 year old hale 90 psu with a 5 year warranty and am having no joy atm. Not even any acknowledgement of my request for rma. You should investigate further if its something you really need.
Also, in the event that this ever happens, take a crap load of pictures, all the way through the entire process. From first opening the side panel, to taking out the busted unit.
When I tried to get my H80 RMAd they wanted to charge me the delivery cost to send it to them which was around £20, that's about one third of the unit! Not to mention it happened twice. They were quick enough to respond but I think that as the problem was their fault and not mine, it was totally unreasonable to make me pay for the delivery.
Yeah have you spoken to the NZXT guys in here? I needed a new case-top and got it sorted in around 2 weeks (it was coming from out of the uk so i wasn't fussy on shipping time) didn't charge me a penny postage either. The emails are a little slow but i put that down to time-zones really.
