We'd heard the rumours of the 99 series coming in 3 months, so the EOL of the 9800GX2 will be around June/July.

According to this vague news snippet the G200 replacing it will be identical just with different nomenclature?! Surely not!

Hopefully this will push the price of GX2's down, I've seen one for £340 already. Those in the UK could get the ~£400 EVGA card and use the european step up program...

Still think i'll buy a 98GTX and flog it when 99s come about.
