That's gotta be it. Three of the boxes look the same and then there's one slightly larger, which must be the mobo. And all of them have the XFX logo.

So my money is on 3-Way SLI on 780i from XFX as well :D

Even if u didn`t keep them, I`d hope they`d let u hold onto the rig enough to give the SLI setup a good and proper slapping about inside the game world to see how it stands up.

Benching doesn`t mean anything to me with sli/xfire.. if ur game craps out with it.
