Resolved???

Visited partners bank today, they said they can not do anything and to try and deal with nepas. I also asked if there was any cover on matters like these, which was a negative no no.

FragTek - any news on this issue over at other forums?

Nah nothing back yet mate.

I don't know if I will hear anything back, he just said he was going to bring it up with the other staff. So they could be working on in internally and at least monitoring his account and possibly try to make contact.
 
Got a PM from FragTek today stating that nepas has replied to him. He said that hopefully the PSU is with me by Monday, which would be awesomesauce!

He will be online here today (I think), so please listen to what he has to say. Although nepas has delayed the PSU & getting in contact, it doesn't mean he's a thief. I'm sure he has a very good reason as to why it has been delayed so long.

Hey, that's great. At least you know for some certainty you'll get the PSU.....just delayed. I'm sure everything will be fine once nepas comes back to OC3D to sort everything out.

Also glad Nepas got in contact as previously mentioned he's a respected member on here.
 
dare i ask what the reason for delay was? im sure it is valid because nepas is a top fella was shocked to see this even happend

, I am ashamed to take any pics atm as the cable management hasn't been done. From getting the parts from upstairs to taking them down 2 flights, it took me 30minutes to have it upstairs installing Windows. I was quite shocked at how quickly I put it together

The Noctua is still marked as items.... oo just looked again, it's as payment made - awaiting dispatch, so hopefully it'll be here Friday. When the CPU was running @ 4.3GHz (turbo mode) for 20mins, cores were at 60c, which isn't too bad. Seemed a waste to be using the IC Diamond 24carat on it though, but I have no other decent paste. I also took apart the 4870, which was shockingly dirty, I'm talking about dust looking like shredded wheat

, that's not got some IC Diamond, considering when I last had this card it was running @ 70c min idle, and 78load, I think 72load is a big improvement!

The case is nice, but for some reason it always has seemed hot inside this case (most likely because of the material, it's made of iron or something? lol.

This was my old card, and I just got it back as a temp card. The guy obviously has some dirt issues >.<

Dan, you're going to have a lot of cleaning up to do with that 4870. The colour of all that dust.....wow. Are you sure your friend didn't use their PC in a safe PC environment. It looks like a vacuum cleaner's filter. Normally, dust doesn't look that colour. Maybe it's just me, but dust from a friendly surrounding should look more towards the grey colours? How are you going to clean it?
