Refurbished PSU

Heya everyone,

So I recently RMA'd my Corsair SF750 due to an stripped screw hole and I recieved an refurbished unit in return.

I've read both here and elsewhere a lot of mixed feelings regarding refurbished items, that they are essentially returned items from other customers and hence kinda like used products.

Has anyone in here had any experience with refurbished products in the past? Are they the same as new etc?

Thanks,
Dawelio

refurbished items are usually customer returns most the time it items being sent back as not wanted but refurbed can also be used, there should be some clarification on corsairs website

There are two possibilities here. And it happens all the time with mobile devices

1. you get lucky with a device that was simply unwanted and unused, so its repackaged in a new box and sent out to the next buyer.

2. you get a device that was previously RMA'd due to faulty/damaged parts, which was then repaired and put back on the market.
