Does anyone use a "cheap" SATA II card for additional SATA ports in their PC as I am looking for just that. However what I want is as follows:
XP & Windows 7 (64 and 32bit) natively recognise the card - preferably. If not must have Win7 drivers
Recognised manufacturer - no noname ebay special with no driver updates (unless additional drivers not required)
Hot swap supported
Non RAID - I just want two extra ports to plug removeable hard disks into and not have to worry about going into the cards BIOS to get the disks recognised. The card can do RAID if it wants - just so long as I don't have to use it
PCIe
UK supplier
Thats it really. There are an awful lot of potental cards out there - but does anyone here actually have experiance of one and can reccomend it?
