Razer may make a gaming laptop, with screens on each key, so the keyboard is completely customizable, while maintaining the tactile feedback keyboards give. Remember this is completely conceptual design atm, and I personally don't see how it can be made practical.

EDIT: It's more like a PSP than a laptop when it comes to size, but it's meant for PC gaming.

To help give you an idea of scale

I like the idea of it. And the keyboard is really nice

I wonder if they'll take that idea and put it into a full size keyboard, would be nice to see.

But yeah I think it is nice that Razer are making something like this, its something new and could be potentially good if the price is right. Of course

It has ion graphics but honestly at this level of mobile graphics tech it would be better with the new AMD fusion one but still meh.

The real innovation here is that adaptive keyboard. Like you guys were saying, a full size keyboard that adapts to the game your playing, with full color like that would be glorious. Handheld gaming to me seems a little pointless, if your away from your main gaming computer, your away from it for a reason lol...work/school/church...We can survive a few hours without needing to do a 25man in Wow, and wait till we get home!

Meh, keyboard's not Razer's idea. I think some company released a keyboard with a screen in every key back in 2009/2010. Can't remember what it's called though.

Edit: It's called the Optimus Maximus, read a review on it in 2008 on Tweakers.net, so the idea's been around for a while now.

On the note of hand held gaming, did you know this year in CES, there are over 80 new tablets being showcased. Everyone just loves copying Apple

Thats another issue i'm having with all this new stuff. I see why some people would like the Ipad, but at the price point its sitting on, why wouldn't I just buy a laptop? I just dont get it. I feel like its a trendy thing.

Haha you posted that at exactly the same time I edited my post

Have you used an iPad? They are wonderful for basic web browsing. It's a decent gaming platform as well. I don't have one, but a friend of mine has had one since release. I use my iPhone 4 occasionally for server maintenance. I could see the iPad being much more useful for this with the larger screen. Cisco VPN support along with RDP and VNC clients can be very useful. I've found that most people who hate on the iPad and iPhone haven't used one or assume that everyone has the same use for things that they do.

My brother has won two iPads now through work. He said he'd give me the second one if I'd go on a trip to Florida with him. Still haven't decided yet.
