Razer reveals the world's first Mecha-membrane keyboard

This feels a lot like one of those "We knew that we could, but no-one ever stopped to think about whether or not we should" moments....

Same as what I am thinking, though there are people that do like membrane keyboards.

So from the press release I can't figure out exactly what it is?

It sounds a lot like a cherry mx blue, with o-rings installed? What exactly is the patented tech?

Only asking because I'm in the market for a new keyboard and the form factor looks really nice.

Seems like something for me, I like the membrane on the Roccat Isku, but always wanted some kind of cross over between membrane and mechanical. And this seems to be the right thing for me :)

Thanks for this heads up WYP :)

I'm clearly missing something. What is different on this compared to the S.T.R.I.K.E Series by Mad Catz?!?

Call me when someone makes a Mechanical NATURAL Keyboard.

The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 would be the most perfect keyboard ever made... if it was mechanical.
