RAZER and Belkin collaborate on Belkin n52te speedpad

At first glance my initial reaction was WTF.

Thinking about it I think it might be decent, I'd try one

Exactly what I thought. Not sure if I'd pay for the privilege though.

Always liked the idea of these, but after playing with kbs for so long it would take a long time to adjust imo.

I have the original N52 and to be honest you'd have to wrench it from my cold dead hand before I gave it up.

I have mild arthritis in my fingers, doesn't bother me normally but a couple of hours bending them to a keyboard config for counter strike and I'll be in pain.

The N52 has completely done away with that, it is the most useful and comfortable gaming accessory I've ever found.

Now before you think "well I'm young and my fingers are fine so I don't need one" think about what that unnatural keyboard stance is doing to your 19 year old joints, ten or twenty years later and it's frozen hand time for you too.

Apart from that it's a very good peripheral and once you're used to it you wont go back.

I don't work for Belkin by the way, lol.

That Saitek one looks ok but it doesn't mould to your hand like the Belkin.

the Saitek can do things that the old N52 can't though due to it's programming.

Don't know about the new 1 though but I would imagine that they've improved that side given Razer's involvement.
