random powerups

hi, when my missus turns her pc on, mine also turns on/wakes from standby.

her system is
I3 3220, asrock z68 pro3 mobo, win 7 64,

mine is
2500k, asrock extreme 3, win 7 64,

i have checked the bios and the box for wake from lan is disabled, both pc's are connected to the router wired. this has been happening a while., and is bugging me

That happened to me once too with WOL disabled in bios. I went to Device Manager -> network card -> Power Management and disabled "Allow this device to wake the computer". That solved it for me.
Alternatively you may want to disable Wake Timers from Power options under the sleep tab.
Also open the command prompt and type "powercfg -lastwake" see if you get any reasons why there.
