Random BSOD

Browsing the web you say,

That will be it then. The error ( or virus whatever ) lies there.

Have you ran Malaware bytes?

What extensions are in internet explorer?

Well I don't actually use internet explorer. I always use firefox.

I haven't run Malaware bytes, will do that now.

But the thing is, it has also happened to me while watching videos. I'm not sure if I had firefox open while doing that though.

And if I don't shut my PC down after a bsod, the bsod will occur much quicker (sometimes even when I'm not fully into Windows yet.)

Edit: So I ran a quick malwarebytes scan.

Correctemundoo, although my cpu is now running at 2,8 instead of 3.

Hard drives are 2 Spinny F3's in RAID0 and a Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB

No there haven't been any, so far so good then but there's this weird program launch popup I get at startup.

iexplorerfake1.png

I haven't resized it so you can actually read the text.

I get that popup everytime I boot up my pc.

Looks like a virus to me mate. Have you got a boot disk that you can read/write NTFS from?

If so, I'd use it to delete that file and then remove it from any startup listings (msconfig/autoruns).
