The Sept 5th launch date is for season pass holders only. The non pass owners get it the 12th. However the supposed 1000 bug fixes and optimizations update alongside the new map release on the 5th.
Despite all that, it's still a very fun game and worth trying. It's in the top 15 games played on Steam and that's not including Uplay or console.
