is it possible to use a raid controller to run to different raids (run two SSD in raid 0 and Two HDD in raid 1)

yes if your referring to like the intel on the P67 Z68 and Z77 chipsets others as well i beleive. Where you have 2 6gb/sec ports and 4 3gb/sec ports you can run a raid across any of those or like I did in the past used my 6gb ssd's on the 6gb ports in raid 0 and used the 4 3gb ports to raid 4 640gb hdd's in a seperate raid 0 but any of the choices are available for each raid.

np at all mate when ya get into the bios for the raid you'll be able to assign drives to your prespective raid needs.
