Radiator clearance.

Hey guys. I'm planning my starter loop for my current case. Silverstone Kl04 I'll be upgrading to a 900D come December and put a 360 in also to have a GPU and CPU loop.

Getting a new motherboard and GPU within the next few days so I was wondering I could also get my loop started! Below is a picture of a ruler next to my top fans.

Now I have about 30 mm clearance from fans to ram and about 25mm from the top of the motherboard. Did I measure right? What radiator if any can I fit?

Correction, what good quality radiator can I fit?

That would only fit a slim rad, IF you measured correctly.

Not worth it imo, wait until you have your 900D

i agree. got a 60mm thick rad in push pull up in the top of my 900d with the msi z87 gd65, there's less than a mm left between heatsink and fan but it fits!

Well then I'm in a bit of a pickle guys. Just counted my money I have $1550

$759 GPU
$315 for a CPU WC loop here
Leaving $476 to go either to a 900D at $399 or a Maximus V Formula @$330

Alternatively I can wait until December for the water cooling loop and get the Case, Mobo, GPU now. But be stuck with my ugly Antec 920

Edit I have an Extreme 4M motherboard.
