RAD, Push-Pull Confusion

Hello OC3D folks, My first post here, although I do watch TTL on Youtube very frequently. I'll cut to the chase.

Following Toms 40 fan Push-Pull vid the other day I've been thinking about building a watercooled rig, I understand everything else, however, I'm slightly confused when it comes to the Push-Pull config, I know what Push-Pull means, but I don't know which way to face fans, and if it's more beneficial having the fans pull the air out of the case from which the other fan has pushed in or having the fan push air in from the exterior of the case into the interior.

If anyone can uses pictures :P or explain in detail or well enough for me to understand, It'd be greatly appreciated.

Hot air out of the case is always better in my opinion..

Welcome buddy , have a good stay !
All the best, Ray....

Following on from the image that you have provided, and under standing the direction of flow; pushing hot air outwards, how the fans look from a 3D angle?

Edit: I was thinking to place the RAD in the roof of the case.

The fan draws air in from the side with the blades and pushes it out the back side where the frame is, if that's what you wanted to know

If the rad is in the roof then have it blowing the air out of the case.

I'm trying to picture it.. For arguments sake, the rad is in the roof of the case, the backside frame is facing the rad as the normal side faces inwards and then the other fans normal side of the fan would face the rad and the fan frame would be visable (If looking through the grills of the case)

If the rad is in the roof then have it blowing the air out of the case.
Following that, would that match how I've sort of describe it above?

It does but tbh dude if you dont know what way round fans go Id be very worried about you watercooling your system....

I've got my current rig configured properly, especially with fans, but I wanted to 100% sure, especially for push-pull.

With everyones help, it's painted a picture for me, I think what confused me the most is making sure they're pointing in the right direction to blow air outwards, with it being push-pull.

Thank you Tom, SnW and MadMarc for helping me with my problem.

P.S Tom, I'm looking forward to Orca :) and keep up the video's, they're awesome :)
