From a ATI biased pov i honestly cant beleive the scores until full review samples with correctly coded drivers are out. I would also like to see the benefits of crossfire. But you know ill probably get burnt in the flame that may occur :)

No such thing as flamers here m8.

This Forum is guarded by the Jedi's - flaming leads to anger, anger leads to pain, pain leads to suffering - the dark side are they, the oppression of the sith will never return.

thats very good to see, seeing as i have a xfx gtx coming tomorow, 3dmark at last, weyhey. Does anyone know the difference between my version, and the original version, mine is slighty pre- overclocked by 10mhz on both gpu and ram, im thinking it could be the better W core. dunno. i got it from nacs reversed

Mav talked me out of it...i am now unbiased and will wait until the cards drivers have matured before taking my pick between 7800 and x1800.

those results are supposably not true and the guy who put them up has been slated for doing so, im not biased to one company but ill beleave it when i see it

The guy is in all sort of trouble from ATI a present -ATI would only get involved if the smoke did lead to the fire.

One the other side of all this of course - laws of physics dictate that the scores will there or thereabouts - Alanore did some rough calculations in another thread and those scores kinda reflect those calculations.

I guess that the official results is what counts - overclocking? The XT daddy uses dual slot cooling already to keep temps down, I think 700Mhz will be the norm on water (or shigsy modded air cooler) that'll compare to the reference GTX which happily goes to 530Mhz on water (probably 560+ on non reference cards).

Anyone else getting really tired of all this speculation and just want the damn cards to come out?

Yes and no. On one hand i couldn't really care less, as ive got a GTX, and i doubt anything ATI release will be much better, but iam also interested as a tech *****, and wanna see it, heh.

As for the results, i don't trust em, but i can see them being about right, i mean it's not gonna be much faster than a X850XT PE IMO. Bringing out a 16 Pipe flagship card is a mistake IMO.
