Quiet 7950 or Stock 7970??

You really need to check how your GPU overclocking yourself, as every single card overclocks a bit differently. Silicon Lottery, same as CPU...
No SieB, stock 7950 is 800/1792
The Asus DCII 7950 comes with a factory overclock of 950/1250, I should have said stock for the DCII not 7950s.
I went with the 7950 as it really isn't worth the extra cash for a 7970. I got the XFX DD 7950. Easily run it @ 1000/1400. This room is 20c and card idles at 39c at 40% fan speed. 60% fan speed is still quiet, you get a slight fan noise but really not that noticeable and hits low 58-62c when gaming. Also note that my card is running 1050/1450. Oh and it looks uffing sexy!
