I didn't now whether to put this in the off-topic section or here, but anyway, can anybody think of a way to tranfer a PS1 game into PC format? Just wondering.

Yeah, you would do best to get an emulator and then download the ROM of whichever game you wanted to play. Although, that might be illegal? I can't remember the technicalities.

of course he is not going to download the games ;)

psx emulation is good on pc so you can get an emulator and play it from cd drive like i said before or rip an iso.

or if you have a psp you can convert it to an eboot and play it on psp(this is what i do)

Cheers.

thanks for the replies:)

i read up on the emulators but every time i install the plugins they don't show up in the emulator ive got when i try to configure them?

also, its not a ROM file, i can use the CDs for the game as i've still got them:) Another problem, the game im trying to use needs patched as the UK PAL version doesnt work without a patch, and it wont work either.

im guessing you havent got your psx anymore?

what emulator are you using?(if not uaing epsxe then get it,its the best)

yeah, i was using epsxe and nope the psx is long gone. Ill ask people on emulatorzone.com and see if they have a solution i think i just need to find out where the plugins go.

the plugins go in the folder called 'plugins'(all folder are named appropriately)

make sure you delete any other files in there too other than what you need and make sure you have the bios set.

should work tbh as i have used it before.
