K K404 New member Jan 18, 2007 #2 Apparently 118MHz is a magical point that helps OC ability, but in theory any increase in PCI-E clocks helps bandwidth. It also helps bandwidth for HDDs..increases transfer speeds by a few MB/s. I bench at 113MHz, just in case I corrupt my HDDs
