Question about the NZXT kraken x52

I'm building a new gaming system and I'm going over my items before final purchase. You know looking at reviews checking out different sites and opinions when I checked out the about the kraken on nzxt website it says my old case the corsair 600t isn't compatible. They have a downloadable pdf with all compatible cases.

This is puzzling to me because the x52 is a 240mm and I've seen H100i inside my case on YouTube and that's a 240mm. Does the x52 have different ways of mounting to the case from h100i.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but don't want to buy then have to return it.

As far as I can tell, it should fit no worries. Since the 600T supports 2 x 120's in the top and an H100i fits inside it of it, so don't see how the NZXT Kraken X52 wouldn't.

I don't have your case, so I can't comment on your exact situation. But I can tell you mine and you can think about it.

I have a 2010 Antec 1200 full-tower ATX case. On the back above the motherboard I/O shield, there are two 120mm fan mount points that have case fans attached to it. When I initially bought it back in 2010, I bought a 240mm radiator to do a liquid cooling loop. It turns out that the fan screw holes in the radiator are actually CLOSER to each other than the case mounting holes for the fans themselves...but only by a tiny amount. I took a round file to each hole to allow me to pass the small screws through just barely and mounted the radiator as a test fit, but the radiator was mounted on the outside.

I never actually water cooled that system.

In 2015 when I built a Skylake system, I reused the case. My cooler is the Corsair H100i AiO. I got that system JUST BARELY mounted inside the case by using the existing exhaust fans on the back as a spacer and buying 8 more long screws identical to the ones that came with the cooler. I then mounted the cooler through the fans and added the included Corsair SP120 fans in front pushing (with finger guards). It's a push/pull, but the pull fans are regular fans, not high SPL. But it works. It's a very tight fit with the 200mm fan on top basically pushing directly on the bottom of the radiator (mounted port-side down), but it fits.

EVERY on-line source and document said it was not compatible. A round file, an hour of my time, and some stubborn determination made it fit and it works.
