hi all

i just bought the revolution mx, i saw it and thought what the hell.

anyways, i know the main advantage is the clutch control, so it can continue scrolling even though the stop scrolling.

anyways, i had the mx700 before, and when i used it with ie7, i used to press the scroll button, and it would open a new window in ie7, in the tabbed browser. i really used tabbed browsing a lot.

anwyyas, is there any way to configue the mx revolution to open up a new tab when i press a certain button? ie click the hyperlink in ie7 and it would open up a new tab.

if not i might have the return the mouse......:(

thanks!

I am not certain but I think that the higher end mice usually come with software that allows you to set what the extra buttons do.

Did you install the Logitech SetPoint software or whatever the heck it is theyc all it these days? It should let you assign certain tasks to the buttons on the mouse.
