Why 13"? Just but a 15" or 17" and run at 13" resoloution, then same refresh rates. If you're after something small and mobile then maybe a tablet or a high end phone (Desire 2 wouldn't be bad) would be better?

im going to be doing autocad on it, on-the-go so need something small (13.3" max) and a quadcore processor

I don't think any exist yet. I don't know much about laptop sockets but (now this is very far fetched) if the cpu socket is not laptop/ model specific (guessing here) could you maybe buy a quad from a dissassembled laptop off ebay or the like and then use that to replace the dual core in another 13" machine??

But there's bull dozer round the corner, maybe that'll have some mobile quads in the line up

the thing is, this is something that popped up and now i need one asap.

i could do that but time is an issue i need a laptop by the end of next week and it seems that your right they dont exist :/

There are a few quad core laptops however I don't belive there are any 13.3" ones, they are mostly 15"-19" quad core laptops, so if you don't mind the size try for one of those, doubt you're gonna find a 13" quad core laptop.

If not than can you buy alienware.... even if you are not going to be gaming I have a friend that uses an alienware M11X for some 3d modeling on the road and stuff. The basic level M11X is $1200 USD and comes with a quad core hyper threaded proc, 4 gigs 1333 memory and a decent graphics chip for a laptop.

just checked and the Mx11 doesnt come in a quad core model the highest processor you can customise it with is a intel® Core™ i7 2617M which is quad core
