Right... its time for me to start a project which will be my last due to wasting too much money

This rig will be based purely for gaming with the occasional web surfing and university work.

Unforunately i don't have all the components i need but thats only the third watercooling loop.

Specs are below: (reason doing this early - so no-one nicks my ideas/name )

Swiftech Storm G4, Laing D5 Pump, Thermochill HE120.3mm Radiator, Innovatek Fass o'Matic reservoir including bay, 7/16" Muskaleer Tubing, 3xAkasa LED Green 120mm Fans, UV Dark Blue Dye.

Loop 2 (GPU):

EK GPU Block, Swiftech MCW60, Laing D5 Pump, Thermochill PA160.1mm Radiator, Tank o'Matic Reservoir, 7/16" Muskaleer Tubing, 1xPanaflo M 120mm Fan, UV Green Dye.

Loop 3 (Pheripherals) Aqua Computer:

A biiiig box... i wonder whats inside?

After waiting a miserable 6 weeks my case has finally arrived. Won't bother saying much but here she is:

^^ Its masssive. The box alone takes up half of my Double bed!

Not only that but how many bl**dy screws do you need to take out to open the damn case!

This is what the internal of the case looks like.. plenty of room for me to play around... i can probably lock myself in there if i tried

^^The motherboard tray has roughly a 20mm gap at the bottom.. nice to feed cables and tubing through... kinda nifty.

^^Kinda of a dark picture but as you can see, i had to divert the small rad (120.1) to the fan placement on the mobo side. My PA160 rad was far too big!

got my mobo... Storm G4 arrives Friday but wanted to get my PC up and running. Got work to doooo!

^^Just testing the fans.. cos' lost count how many times i accidently stepped on them

^^Got the motherboard... very nice indeed

^^Had some time off before going to work.. just to drill a few holes to attach the D5 pumps.

^^GPU Loop almost finished.. my hand aches cos' the tubing is one hell of a tight fit... you need to stick it in HOT water to make the tubing really flimsey... still its hard even when thats done.

Not much of an update at the moment but for the *last* time, i'll be changing my upgrades.

Few goodies on the way including:

Swiftech Storm G4 CPU Block

Aquacomputer Aquaero, Aquadrive, 3metres of black tubing, Aquastream 10cm cable and a few black front plates.

Also ordering my new Eddy_EK EK-FCX1800 GPU Block

The log will be on hold in about a week or 2's time as i'll be going to Hong Kong for 3 weeks for vacation... but within that time, i'll hopefully be getting an X1900XTX maybe 2 and a DFI Crossfire MB... (if i wanna' go Crossfire)

Haven't done much at this moment... sorry for going so slow.

Was a little bored last night so i thought i would start soundproofing my case and do a little bit of wiring/soldering.

BTW the mats are not stuck down as it'll be a pain if i need to do an extra bit of modding and a hassle to rip it off.

^^Decided to make some extension wires. 1 down, 3 more to go.. all will be braided with a 90degree molex attached to one end.

^^Both of the D5's are connected to one of the cables of the PSU which has 3 molex connectors, i managed to hide all the excess cables which will also be out of sight when the panels are made. The 3rd cable slots in between the second and third fan mounts of the radiator grill.

^^Remember the extension wires i made? Well they are going to attach to the molex/es, through the drive bay holes and plugged into the drives for a neater look.

^^Bottom base panels designed using Autocad. The 2 small rectangular panels in this pic are going to be fitted on each side of the outter drive bays.

Top panel will be 3mm Acrylic, middle and bottom panel will be using 8mm acylic... to give the PSU wires some space when i come to tidying it all up.

I was going to use smoked black plexi... but now Kustom have Mirror acylic, think i'll switch to that *yum*

Received my Storm G4 waterblock yesterday and been busy plaing with that

The panels which i have designed will be lazer cut when i come back from holiday, plus whether Scampi wants me to, i might get his panels done too... but in the mean time i'm still waiting for one of my res bay mounts which should arrive by Tuesday.

It does.. not by much though... then again.. mine won't be a problem as the only thing in the case which will produce heat... are the mosfets.

Looks like what I was planning on doing except the cpu and video is going to be under phase. I'm going to have a second case built to sit under the U2-UFO though. That thing will be MASSIVE when it is done. Of course it will never look that nice

Philly_Boy over @ XS has a triple head chilly cascade coming to him in a case that chilly custom made to fit directly under his UFO Optimax... Pretty much sounds like what you're looking for. I was thinking about having chilly do mine as a triple head internal but I figured I'd much rather have all of the power directed at cooling the CPU at insane low temperatures to get the most insane OC possible.

Well yeah 2 compressors are going to the CPU and one to the 2 video cards Still working out the all the details with chilly on what will be done in the long run but going to wait till he gets everything finished to order it.

Just got back from HK so i'm feeling a bit under the weather with jetlag and the cold

Anyways, i managed to get hold of a X1900XTX and a Soundblaster XFI at bargain prices over there... less than $3000 for both.. which is around £200-250.

I won't be watercooling the graphics just yet as i will need to test it first. Considering its from HK i need to make sure the card is OK and not fubarred.

Little Update. But have good news and bad news.

Good news is that both loops are ready and once my comp was running.. temps were low and very nice.

Sensor 1= CPU

Sensor 2=GPU

Now time for the bad news.... my CPU pump died on me

Found out the problem.. and now my rigs a COMPLETE mess

The leak was nothing astonishingly though i didn't noitice i was spilling some de-ionised water all over the place

The problem: The molex connector from my pump snapped off

Is the seasonic working alright upside down? I swear I read in the manual (bored and it was on my desk ) that they are meant to remain the right way up, even mounted at the bottom of the case?

Unlucky on the leak, though I wouldn't mind a setup like that...
