Which is a better pump .

12V Laing DDC1+ Ultra 18W (MCP355)

12V Laing D5 Vario Pump (MCP655)

the ddc has a higher head (preasure)

the d5 has a higher lph (litre per hour)

imho the ddc is the better pump for multiple blocks

The DDC is also much more compact and easier to mount.

As Well as more aftermarket/replacement tops, I would recommend, EK or XSPC.
