Pump Flow

I am looking at pumps on specialtech. I am on a budget of £220.

I have picked a choice of 2 compact pumps...

They are almost the same except one is 400LPH and one is 800LPH.

I was just wondering if it would make a difference of performance to cool a single CPU on a 360 rad.

Absoluely. get the 800 LPH pump. it'll get you better temps b/c more water transferring heat to the rad fins. Which block & CPU are you using?

The head pressure will matter more if you're using a highly restrictive block.

The Phobya has a higher flow and higher head

Get the Phobya.

XSPC Rasa CPU Waterblock

The Rasa block isn't bad restriction-wise. It would only be bad to use the 400 LPH to run highly restrictive blocks like mobo blocks, restrictive GPU blocks, etc. 800 LPH is still the best. Get it. I'd also like to see your loop when it's done. I'm sorta getting my WC loop together myself.

The head pressure on a phobya is higher than DDC and XSPC. tbh the 400 Is good enough for just a cpu system and runs at a rated 400 Ltr per hour with excellent over head. were as the 800 LPH is over kill.

How do i know ive been messing testing these buggers now day in day out for the last month.

Ive tested the XSPC pumps, DDC, phobya and more.
