Hrmmm... I take it you took apart the ATX connector then? I would double and triple check to make sure that you replaced all of the correct wires in to the correct holes on the molex head.

If everything checks out and looks ok, you may have damaged your motherboard on accident and not have even known it. Just from a small random bump or something while taking out or putting in the psu perhaps?

Hope all works out for you in the end. At this point I would take your computer completely apart and build it from the ground up to make sure there are no undue grounds. Computers are mysterious creatures, I can't tell you how many times my computer has acted up and for no reason at all.

yeah make sure you have all your atx wires correctly, from the beeping and experience ive had with it it sounds like your ram could be buggered for some odd reason.

dont get those hyper psu, ive heard of so much trouble with them. there just pretty. but they suck performance wise your better off getting soemthing like a tagan

Hi mate

I take it you bought a complete kit of new molex connectors, in which case the things I'd check would be:

*All yellow wires are on the far left hand side and red wires on the right (if looking at the molex from front on). It doesn't matter in which order you put the 2 black wires (2nd or 3rd hole, it doesn't matter);

*Ensure that all the wire connectors have snapped back into the lugs that hold them into the molex plug, some of the aftermarket molex's I have seen are a little dicky and flimsy. If these don't snap in properly, you'll have a bad connection that may lead to errors (also make sure that if you have used heat shrink, that this isn't pulling the wires out of the back of the molex), and

*As previously mentioned, check your ATX plug and make sure that all the wires were correctly put back in their corresponding holes.

:whack:

ive got a hiper type r 580w and its excellent.

pre braided cables and looks good, good power and sli ready and a good price tag to boot.

Well i have got the new psu and installed it :) . Pc boots fine. I had miss wired two molex connectors which supplied power to my dvd writer and fan control system. Both are now Knacked and ready for juck. luckly though this is nothing major. Replacing the two devices with dvd dual layer drive and watercooling! :D

So for my Next Question. Best water cooler. Zalman, Water chill, or cooler master?? Any help would be grateful.

And the new psu is so far so good all rails running real good according to moterboard bios.

None of the above.

High end aircooling pwns all of the wc setups you listed. The only way to make watercooling worthwhile is to build a custom system from the ground up using various manufacturers parts.

Kit wc sytems are 100% useless.

Was looking at getting the coolermaster aquagate to start just for the lack of case modding. Then was looking at zalman waterblocks. Because i heard they quite good.

Yeah listen to and chat with Fraggles or XMS mate, they're very experienced in H2O setups. IMHO custom setups are the way to go, the kit versions usually have some major downfall associated with them...sucky pumps and restrictive tubing sizes being the major ones :)

And whorishly awful waterblocks...

But everything PV just listed is what makes or breaks a good watercooling system.

Why spend that much money on a kit wc system when you can spend $50 on a nice heatsink that does the job even better?
