PSU Made by who ??

Meh, trawling a US website for some components for some1, and on the subject of psus I thought, look for a Tagan etc...

I`m presented with this list of manufs:

Apevia International

ATI Technologies

Axpertec Inc

Cooler Master

Coolmax

Diablo Tek

Enermax

HEC

iStarUSA

Just PC USA

PowerUp

ThermalTake

Ultra

I can hear loads of people shouting "NO Thermaltakes!!" and I won`t buy an Enermax on general principle atm. (unless there is little option)

But would any1 care to order these in terms of quality manufs ?!?!

(Build would be AW8D/e6300/8600 etc etc nothing extra demanding)
 
Enermax HEC and possibly Coolermaster at a push would be the ones I'd take from that list.

Personally, I'd go for a HX520, for the price, it can't be beaten :)

HEC-Using Orion 585D, stable so far ($25 rofl)

ThermalTake-Not too bad

Ultra - X2 is good

But really go with a Corsair 520 HX.

If you can roll over to another website, I think I'd look into other mid range reliable units by sparkle, fortron, and (yes) even rosewill.

HEC --> they make a TT psu I love, not sure about their other ones.

ThermalTake --> Only a certain few. (namely TR2-430w (pwn))

Ultra --> Their X-Infinity i think it is actually isnt bad.

Thanks alot guys. I`m partly glad other peoples haven`t heard of a handful of them too. I kinda think they maybe the sorta psu u may get in a cheap case for like ~$50 and boasts a 400/500w psu. ouch.

Usual suspects with the rest so it seems.

I should stress for the sake of the website, I was directed (Tigerly), to where the person was going to buy old gear from and I was stopping them if u like.

The manufs listed are if u click on 500w. I have subsequently noticed if u click on 600w u get the likes of OCZ, and other manufs if select 400w. Most sites I`m used to them having all the manufs in the list and if they don`t have what u want there would be a (0) after their name. >.<

It`s all kewl now, and thanks again for the clarification.:)
