Hai Guys.

Been doing some hunting for a psu thats meaty enough for running 4890s in crossfire. Weird thing is, they are 2xpin pci-e so i need 4x6pin pci-e which is completely messing me up. Normally only look for 2x8pin pci-e and 2x6pin pci-e.

Any help would be nice. Dw about budget, there isnt one, pref under £130 would be nice though...

I was going for the CM Realpower 850watt as I had this one last time, damn nice psu, bit noisey though but doesnt have all the connectors I need, and btw, i completely forgot which ones had the 2xpin pci-e with those little adaptors on them to make them 8pin. SO AARRGH!!! pulling my hair out.

Any suggestions peeps?

Wasn't there some kind of 800w psu which had 4*6+2 connectors? I'm sure Jim remembers, was in one of the OC3D reviews. I remember a corsair 750w unit I've used for a friend of me having them too, but not too sure about that.

Think thats the one i saw....But cant remember which one, corsair one me thinks....Shall have to get reading me thinks and see whats about...

Looks like a good one :) Correct connectors, single kickass 12v rail and high efficiency too. Your budget even survives :D

Shame about the nonmodularness though :(

Tell me about it, its the only thing thats putting me off in all honesty, but nothing a few cable ties cant solve. lmfao!

I swear by corsair, Ive got one of those 850watters powering 4 8800gt's and a quad folding with no problems what so ever 24/7
