Gona' need a little help here lads.

Basically i got a case from Maplins, cheap 30 quid.

And my minds gone blank for ideas!

I had a Simpsons idea in mind, but then i realized: I don't really like the Simpsons! :rolleyes:

HDD. 320 GB Hitachi Deskstar

PSU. 500W Silverstone

Lol i know, but that's to easy.. i want different colors, vinyls, uv, case modding is the idea! :P

Ohh!

Your after a full transformation sort of thing. Think of a popular creature or scour the internet for lazer cut sidepanel ideas. You could get some nice graffiti and fill in the back with coloured transparent plastic (forgot the name of it).

Suppose you could start off with picking yourself a colour scheme, if your looking for the 'simplistic and effective' look, one of my personal favorites is the orange and black colour scheme. Just have a ponder around and you should get some ideas in no time. :)

EDIT - I'd also reccomend investing in some cable ties and paying lots of attention to the state of your cables. It can generally make your computer lots nicer to look at.
 
OT: That's quite a nice case. Justs need a lick of paint and some cable management when it's done and maybe a window and bobs your uncle.

Good luck...it looks like a great project. Wish I had some skill (and the right power tools) to mod a cheap case. That Antec 300 is crying out for a little tweak.

I dont even have a hammer!!

In fact all ive got is a spoon and some sand paper with no grains.. :(
 
if you could get some industrial type diamond plate, sand it a bit and make it looked a bit distressed, it would set off that look really well
