Project: Cosmos-S-Trail

I got a couple of second hand ones for sale - well there not really second hand as they were just used for sizing up the lay-out of the cards but no water has been through them and always handles with cotton cloves so no marks on them what-so-ever ;)

Lovely :), How many posts do I need before I can trade on this forum. I'm very interested in grabbing them off of ya

All looks good to me mate. Tho that SB is begging for a custom waterblock with some barbs positioned just to the back of the GX2's :p

I've been in touch with Coolermaster and they are going to do there best to get me a set of Black quick release buttons over so fingers crossed on that one.

Anyway, i wanted to make all the front bezels easily removable (well apart from the Aquagate ones as they are part of the actual units) so i chopped up the original Cosmos bezels and after a bit of filing / sanding, stuck the little end bits on with Devcon Plastic Steel Putty which worked out pretty well and amazingly they all line up give the front end exactly what i was looking for so i'm happy with the outcome.

Still have to get the plexi and lighting in for the Zotac logo.....

Hey cheers for following the show and my apologies for not responding to each individual post every time even though i take all on board and appreciate every one but i'd rather wait till i have a valid update to justify the post instead of a load of "thank you" posts to falsely keep the thread alive imo.

Anyway, best get one of the sponsors names up in lights as they donated a couple of GX2's ;)

Its not the finished article but got a couple of clear LED's behind the Zotac bezel just to see how it looked with the plexi in place which i hope they are happy with.....

Your actually tempting me to rebuild my PC slow for the new case. It won't happen I'll get too impatient but that is some excellent work. I do have a question though. Without a DVD/CD drive how you gonna get Windows on it? :D

I already loaded Vista onto a 36GB Raptor while it was on the bench and added a few games so its good to go - its easy enough to plug a CD-ROM in if need be though.

i would have thought u'd hide it behing a fancy custom bezel or something but its just as easy to use an external usb one. THIS BUILD IS INSANE ! also do u plan to hit the cpus in series or parellel?

what? :S I Dont understand what you mean

They cant work together on the same thing, unless it is multi-threaded since they are physically seperate...

i thought he would have hid a cd-rom drive behind a custom bezel (something he would have made). as for the cpus its refuring to the cooling, is he gonna hit them in series or parellel?

I So like that case and the way you have souped it up.

I so wish I could do that but the only thing is that I do not have basic equipement and whats even worst is that school is finish and college is coming so there is nooooooo way I can use the equipment I am gagging for.

Enough with my sad story - that case looks FAB-U-LUS

I'd planned on going orange and purple for the two loops but orange UV dye is such a hard one to get right its becoming a real pita even with the help of Rob at watercooling chucking me practically every known orange UV dye known to man over i still can't seem to get it right.......

Anyway, my troubles might have accidentally been taken care of while looking at Fan controllers.

I came across the Sythe Kaze Master 5.25inch Fan Controller which i thought a couple of them could be modded into looking like the front blank plates given their use of one way black plexi fronts

So anyway i added the silver hex bolts to the front of them and got them mounted which fit in absolutely perfect.

Although the pictures don't show the true colours, the fan speed digits are in bright green and the temperature reading is bright blue so i think that's going to be carried through into the two water loops which will make my life a whole lot easier.

Anyway enough talk and on with some pictures......

Looking real nice dude. Those fan controllers look almost made for the rig :D

One thing I'm not digging tho is the blank drive bezel below the LCD screen. The dual res's looked much better. Imo anyway :p

Agreed, It looks a bit large for a relatively small logo... Cut intel into the top of it :)

Ah, sorry for the confusion there - i had both watercooling units out for leak testing and as i now have a spare blank plate due to the fan controllers i just stuck it in there for the pictures but that will come out once the two coolers go back in.

This is more how it will end up looking......
