yup, try moving it sideways.

it's the same effect as putting a piece of glas on another piece of glas with some water in between, pulling it will be very hard, moving it sideways is usually a piece of cake

unless you missed a screw ofcourse

haha ! I might actually try to flash the lates bios thanks for the tip !

Capacitors all looked absolutely fine, I tried to disassemble the card. I removed all screws but I couldn't get the cooler off without pulling to hard.

Are they usually this hard to remove ?

Nope didn't miss a screw

I will try to flash a new bios first if that doesn't work I am going to try to remove the cooler again

How did the bios flash go?? Nibitor doesnt recognise my card so it looks like a TTL style key ring for me.

I am running win 7 64 bit so I cant flash it either, I have to make a USB with a bootable DOS to flash the card.

I was gonna see how you're experience went before I was gonna put in the effort.

Did you only have the broken card in the pc ? I am scared it will flash a 8800GTS bios to my 580 haha !

Well i have my 450's in the pc and it doesnt recognise them either. Will try and find an old hdd and install xp on it then take it from there. Good luck

I have fixed this problem with the help of Terrifictez85 !

He explained me how to bake the GPU to reflow the solder and it solved all problems I had !
