Does ~£20 for a frosted sheet approx 70cm x 230cm x 1.5cm sound good ? (does to me????)
Not a bad price mate ;) ; we pay AUS$40 for a 60cm x 60cm @ 3mm thick :(

It may be 1cm+ thick, but the owner of the company I work for has had a pallet of the stuff lying around my stores for a good couple of months and he happened to come strolling into meh section, so I asked him about them - are they left over ? sorta thing. (I`ve known the old guy for a good 13 years and I`m one of the few who`s got the balls to even talk to him outside of "how r u" etc lol)

It appears he`s got one of our display guyz building a promotional thing for him.. and his answer to me was "I`ll make sure I get u a good price for it" (I was kinda hoping for "ahhhh Kreig (every sentence around here starts with `ahhhhh` above supervisory positions), they`re left over, u can `have` one" - and from the chat I had from the display guy, the "cost" value of them was £20 each - which I think is/was 30+ or so sheets at the time.

His exact answer to me after that was "let me know if u want a sheet at that price and I`ll cut one and bring it over for u" (he`s working on them the otherside of the bristol channel) - which made me think - hang on I`ve got a pallet of around 11 of them here.... I personally think he`s forgotten about the ones in the stores. The display guy that is.

Now if I take one from here and not buy one.. there may be questions about a missing one in the future. If I go through with buying 1.. and happen to aquire another one (to cover mistakes and rough cuts) - if 1 is missed, it wouldn`t be me as I bought mine :p

£20 sounded a kewl price to me, it`s probably ex-vat, but I aint paying the company vat ;)

It`s something I`m thinking to use as a front for the 4pc case I`m building. It`d need cutting into 4 sections and finished. I can`t see it being a problem cutting it. I can either get the display dood to do it (which I`d rather not coz that type of thing sounds like a favor, and favors in the company ~usually~ get followed up with a return at a later date). - or I`m got a good handful of guyz who do cutting of all kinds of materials, usually wooden, that includes "old-man-Les" - who`s like a 60+ year old ex-builder-joiner that can cut anything u want with anything u want kinda thing.

Thanx again for the feedback.
