Pre-orders for Early Launch Steam Hardware has Sold Out, so you will no longer be able to buy Steam's Controller, Link or even Alienware's Steam machine before it's official launch on November 10th.

Preorder a controller that you haven't ever used before nor has anyone else. Sounds like a good idea..

As long as it becomes the standard controller and no longer the Xbox controller for pc, I think it's a good idea as it helps set a standard for devs on steam.

I've never pre-ordered anything and don't really see the reason why... I always wait for full release and see what reviews say about a specific item before I pull the trigger.
