Powercolor's RX Vega 64 Devil OC has been listed online

Too much, Reference Vega cards should be a lot cheaper than they currently are, V56 should be £299.99, V64 should be £399.99 and any 3rd party cards should be at the very most £499.99.

It might perform really well if it manages to never throttle, and finally deliver the 1080 killer promise while making your PSU weep.

I love the look of it.

Oh dear, oh dear. I'm glad I didn't wait for non-reference Vega. £590 is competitive in that it competes with Nvidia at that price point, but it does so 16 months too late and with a much higher TDP. That would be grand if it actually matched a 1080Ti, but it doesn't.

Make Vega 64 at 200W GPU with all other factors considered = I'll buy one

Make Vega a £400-480 GPU with all other factors considered = I'll buy one

Make Vega on par or close to the 1080Ti consistently with all other factors considered = I'll buy one

Make Vega happen 10 months ago with all other factors considered = I'll buy one

AMD, you delivered none of those things. It has the TDP of a 1080Ti (higher in fact), but not the performance. It has the price of the 1080, but not the availability or TDP. If I were only buying one GPU for the next 3-4 years I'd probably buy a Vega 56 or 64, but that's not me.

According to VideoCardZ PowerColor says the pricing is "complete nonsense."

Ooh, now that's interesting. I wonder if they could get it to £500 or below. That would be pretty damn solid especially if you played BF1 a lot. Faster than 1080 performance for less money, that's worth the heat compromise.

I'm still awaiting the Sapphire card to be officially announced then i'll wait a year and get one at half the price :p
