I am trying to compile a list of as many peoples experiences with power supplies as possible. I don't want people to argue about this please just post your experiences and I will add them to the first post. Hopefully this will help people looking to buy a power supply.

Fragtek

Died after less than one day.

Aspire -1

Chameleon 550w

NickS

Bought it to replace the Enermax 350w back in the day for some more "bling factor." Under load it squealed and the 12v rail was at 12.55v. RMA'ed, same thing. The 350w Enermax handed it its ass. Sad.

-1

BFG +1

650w

Fragtek

Made by Topower, same maker as OCZ, Tagan, etc. Very nice finish, good amount of connectors, stable, and "turbo" fan mode option for better PSU cooling.

+1 (so far)

Enermax +3

Enermax 350w

SuperFlower -1

420W

Nagaru

Standby supply started outputting a negative voltage, rectifier had gone short, repaired with proper replacement parts. Started outputting negative voltage again, problem is a design flaw.

-1

Tagan +2

2Force 480w-u22-SLi

NickS

I have two, hence +2. Both modded. Both rock.

Ok, list updated to include all that stuff, please tell me if you see any mistakes or have any suggestions.

Antec Truepower 430 Watt (Original) +1

Bought in late 04 and still powers my rig (A-XP until late June and currently Sempron)

Antec Truepower II 550 Watt (EPS12V) 0

Got it with the Antec Atlas and have yet to use it. To be noted later.

Oh I forgot this crappy mushkin here.

Hp-550, -1

Though a beauty, couldnt handle the load of an oc'd intel 550 and an x850xt without 12v rails in 11.75 range or less.

Antec Truepower 380w S

S stands for silent and it only comes wth 1 fan which after over 3 years of use almost 24/7 doesnt show any signs of giving up.

its the old version with only 18a 12v but manages my computer without any problem.

3.3v is slightly higher, last time i measured it was around 3.34

5v slightly below 4.9-4.95v

12v slightly below, 11.85-11.9v

the only downside with the psu is it does not have any pcie or 24pin but is easily fixed with adapters.

i have only good to say about the psu and it still going strong on its fourth year of hard labour.

i give it the highest score possible.

I have a Silverstone strider 400 that I have cut up, modded, put in 3 comps and works beautifully.(top quality inside)

I had a Sunbeam TriMirror 450 that BLEW UP (no more Sunbeam stuff for me)

I had a Ultra 500 Xfinity that I got with a 5V wire unsoldered.(also not on my good list)

I am using a Antec Tru-Power 2 550watt that seems to work fine
