I saw that a while ago....Abit are going crazy at the moment....how about make a board for gamers and shove a stupid long heatpipe going across it that impedes things like CPU HSF and everthing else. WTF ar they on about?
Maybe its time to get rid of their love for "The worlds best Pro-gamer" and get someone in with sense who can actually design board.....someone who works at DFI would be a start...

its for intel and as well as AMD .
ATI plays both sides , if you watch the market ATI has more products with intel chipsets than with nvidia (for amd i.e. ) .
For eg.
MSI is making a ATI board only for AMD
ASUS said they only will do for intel as of now.
So the technology will go both ways.
The best thing is that ATI paired up with ALI to make a Southbridge when their SB was messing up
