Post cannot enter Bios

Before you leave it at that do you have a spare case you could take the switches from to check? That would also rule out faulty case switches.

Sorry if I seem a little thorough but I like to be 100% and always start right from the source.

No sorry I don't, But what I did do this morning is: disconnected all the cables coming from the Front panel to the Motherboard. ( this includes the front panel switch) and tried to post with them all disconnected - same results.

I did this because when I made my first Pretest ( then everything was working) they where not connected.
Don't worry Thorough is good , I open to any suggestion.
And Thanks

Still trying

Any closer to solving this mystery?
I`m curious now...wish I could think of something.
Hope you get a happy ending!

No, no luck yet. I have Disconnected all cables, taken out PSU, checked everything and reconnected all - no change .
I have tried resetting the CMOS and doing a USB Bios Flashback
no change there.

In the meant time I have order some Soft Tube, which I just got.
My next step is to replace( temporary) the HARD tube connecting the water blocks, one at a time. This way I can release any Physical pressure which may be caused by the HARD tube and at the same time allows me to remove the water block on Ram and try with one stick and change over their slots to see if that helps. Then do the same with CPU and reseat it. Continuing until I have done the same to all five water blocks if necessary.

If that's not it then I guess I got to go back to bare bones. ( I am hoping of course that is not necessary) Take everything out and start with only the Motherboard, CPU, Ram, and PSU out of the case and do a Post.
I know the PSU is working so that would limit it down to the Motherboard, CPU, or RAM.
But it is strange that all this was working on my first Post and I could enter the Bios before adding the water cooling Loop and putting it in the case.

I will keep you updated.

Hi I promised you an update on my long going problem with the Max. VI Formula . Well after taking everything out piece by piece and a lot of frustration, It came down to a faulty Motherboard. So I have RMA it, I have heard that it can take some time before you get a decision for ASUS.
I don't want to wait that long, and I have every broken down on my
Kitchen table.
So I brought a new one and hope for a refund from the RMA.
Just started with the new build, did first Pre Post test today, just PSU, Memory, CPU with stock fan, and one SSD. Board seems ok so far at least I could get in the BIOS.
