Hey guys,

I have a 830 128gb SSD drive by samsung on a 3770k 4.6ghz / 16 gb ram / asus z77 deluxe machine acting as the boot drive.
Read speeds are fine, but the write speeds are terrible at the least.

I have verified that i have the latest chipset and RST drivers, ran the optimization wizard on samsung magician and followed several tutorials on how to optimize the SSD...

I thought one of the softwares are causing this slowness, but I got the same reuslts when I ran AS SSD in safemode.

what could the issue be ? could the drive itself is faulty ?

Thanks for your tips.

Mike.

what SATA cable are you running it on? verified it is in gray ports (Z77 chipset ports)
or if using the navy ports (marvell controller) driver is required. also, is the ASMedia drivers
installed (should be for the rear I/O connectivity)?
sorry to make it sound like silly checks, but...
