Interested in the current trend of browser use, FF used to be top dog but I have a feeling its starting to fall behind

So there's only one way to find out.

Can ask a mod to add more options if necessary, but thats all I could think of in 1 minute :)

I'm about to trial google chrome as opposed to the 5 year FF reign

Firefox.

Adblock+ = win

Anyone who says Chrome is faster obviously has a nano-stopwatch somewhere. And solely faster doesn't equal better.

Of course, because I've also got a brain, IE is totally out the window.

Gotta say I'm still loyal to FF... Never caused me too many problems. I really should use some addons apart from google search.

That said, I do use Chrome from time to time and IE on the odd occasion if certain websites will only play nice with IE.

Oh yeah, IE at work too.

I am a FF user and adblock + is a definite gotta have.(tho I unblock overclock3d.net of course!) I have never tried Chrome but maybe in the future and IE is only used when it has to be for certain stuff.

Well, im trying chrome now due to firefox feeling choppy and it hurt my eyes/headachey, and adblock plus made this worse

I'm using firefox. It has never caused me any problems and it's running smooth :) I use AdBlock aswell, as do most people I think :p

Used firefox since i heard about it some four years ago. It's reasonably fast, and has the best configurability by far.

As an example of configurability, i've trimmed my interface, so that it now is actually smaller than the one used by Chrome, while still having every feature i use available.

Im using IE. Used to use FF a bit but when I installed Windows7 I just didnt bother downloading it again lol. Whatever version of IE this is (8 is it?) is pretty good and Ive not had any real problems with it.

Thing that used to annoy me most was the "IE has stopped responding" message, but hardly ever get that now, and any time I have had it its always managed to recover my tabs. :)

Check this out:

ninite.com

It's a site for installing multiple programs in one package. Works flawlessly and saves an incredible amount of time when reinstalling.

I'd never be able to live with IE. It just feels sluggish compared to the alternatives. I'd probably go Chrome if it wasn't for the addon aspect of Firefox.

Chrome, is simple. The search bar is linked to google search engine, very slim design therefore see more of the web page.

Bit off topic, but never seen that before, looks pretty damn good haha. Will definately keep it in mind if I ever need to reinstall/build another PC :D

Yea, i recommend everyone to try it out. Fast, free, incredibly easy and even add free. Autodownloads the proper language version too, and auto-disables any "extras" like shitty toolbars and links on your desktop

Saved me quite some time for sure!

using chrome atm, getting used to it

loving the instant startup and stuff :P

just trying it on for the time being

Is it just me who doesn't need his internet to appear in a nano second, but is happy to wait a tenth of a second for Firefox to start??

No ads and wait a tenth of a second, or ads and instant start.

I'll wait.

Chrome? Pah.
