Police Foil "mass shooting" plot at Pokemon World Championships

Acting the way he did and getting caught by the police he was asking FURRET " XD

Hmm I don't really like puns in this context, when its such a serious massacre that could have happened. Regardless of it being foiled, still not a laughing matter in my eyes.

But it didn't happen ergo we can make fun of the guy who was a grade "A" nut job.

Leave the high horse at the door ;)

Yeah, it is really sad to see people do something so stupid, it is really tragic.

America really need to address their gun situation, how many shootings do they need before they act?

Imo this has nothing to do with how the US handles their gun law. In an other country where gun laws are way more strict (too strict perhaps in my eyes, but that's my opinion as a firearms lover), you can just as easily go and buy a rifle on the black market. Just look at the incident on the Thalys train last week in Paris, that AK was also just bought on the black market in Brussels. Luckily the guy got rekt before he could do anything :p

Cousin of mine is in the police force in New York city, Been there about 20 years and he said in America on average there are at least 2 mass shootings per day and more that go unreported or undocumented.

America has a gun problem, I like guns myself and I'm going to go to a shooting range when I go to Texas next spring but America has a gun addiction that needs to settle down a bit.

A mass shooting is any shooting with more than 1 victim. Doesn't have to result in a death and doesn't need to be in a white suburb. I'd be willing to bet most are gang/drug related and innocent bystanders aren't the targets.

That said, I do agree with you to an extent. I love my freedom, but we do have a problem here in the states. Unfortunately, I have no idea how we can fix it. It's totally ingrained into our culture.

Exactly, America as it is today was formed around weapons and as long as there is money in selling weapons America will have a problem.

I know it's in the constitution that "A well trained militia can have weapons" i.e bear arms but your ordinary everyday citizen is not part of a well trained militia even with a license and it could be amended hence the word, Amendment, Meaning, To change.

Plus massacre at least the way my cousin explained it is at least 2 people dead, Not injured but dead plus the very meaning of the word massacre means "an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of people i.e killings or murder" not "Someone was injured and got a bruised knee".

The problem is those that make and sale the guns have lot's of money and power in the US government to keep it as is making them even richer, they don't send their kids to these poor schools where a lot of these shootings happen, and a few dead poor kids makes no difference to their pockets
