PNY leaks their RTX 2080 & RTX 2080 Ti XLR8 series and specifications

I'll buy a new graphics card when I can get 1080 Ti performance for £400 or under. Until then my Vega 56 will do me just fine.

Horrible card, horrible overhanging cheap looking cooler and no doubt false warranty (as PNY have been known for).

Avoid.

Mind you it does get your brain going huh? if this toss of the toss card is a bag of sand how much is a Strix going to be?

PNY blow chunks. I will never forget when my friend returned his GTX 570 for repair/replace using their lifetime warranty. A lifetime warranty that pertains to the lifetime of the card. In dev. From Nvidia.

So about 6 weeks then. They sent him back his duff card.

I had 2 780Ti from PNY. didnt have a single issue with them and they OC'd beautifully. You always seem to have a "mate" who has experienced something with the thread topics ;)

It tends to happen when you socialise with the world dude. I can't help it ! :p

Word of mouth is the most critical part of a business. Good service doesn't travel far, but complaints will echo for years.

The prices are likely to be placeholders.

Each generation the prices seem to hike up. Look at the 770 to 970 to 1070. Its not just gpus. Intels cpus get more and more expensive every generation, mobos are going up as are ram, psus, cooling even games.
The only parts that seem to be going down in price are ssds.

The whole PNY thing is common knowledge, if you've been around for long enough. So it was bound to happen to one of my friends, given I have a lot of gaming friends.
