I think the reason you're finding it so difficult to find a compatible block is that this graphics card is not a reference design PCB, which means Sapphire made the layout themselves, so the standard waterblocks don't fit on them. I couldn't find this info when I Googled it, but by looking at a pic of the reference PCB layout it looked quite different from yours, especially on the right hand side below the power connectors.

Sometimes people make blocks for specific non-reference layouts, but it's unlikely, sorry about that :/

Also, I think there's a CHANCE that reference blocks fit non-reference cards for specific GPUs sometimes, but I definitely wouldn't risk it unless you know of any other people that have successfully done it

it would be hard to find a full-cover water block if it isnt a reference pcb.

a universal solution would be the only option, i currently use one for my non-stock pcb 7950.
you will need this if you want to mount a universal block on a 7900 series amd card for direct contact

Ok thanks guys you helped me.. But what would be the best universal block to get ? I did think it would be hard to get a full cover block for my card if any.. But looks like I will have to make do with a universal block.. As I don't Wana change my gpu.

I'm looking for cooling performance Really if this helps as the cooler on my card really Is uter rubish at min when playing games for a long time.. And dumps so much hot air in my case. That's why I'm going water really.

i only have experience with universal blocks from xspc and ek, both are equally effective. go with the universal block which looks best for you. be sure to add a few sinks to the ram and/ or vrm

Iv got a z11 case.. But iv Moded it So it would fit a 240mm rad at top and 2 other 120mm rads... But i am planing putting in a 240mm rad and 120mm rad to cool both!! i will give you a list of the kit and tell me what you think ??

Would this Bee ok??

Sorry for all the questions i am a newbie to water cooling! :o

i would advise thicker rads, although those rads could cool both a cpu and gpu you really would like more thermal headroom.
where are you placing the rads in your case and how have you modded it?

read though this it shows how a few guys fitted a h100 into your case, perhaps it may help with you getting a rad in the top or bottom of the case.

Iv had to cut sum of the mettle at the top of the case to be able to place a 240mm rad and feed the tubes to the pump.. if you understand what i mean..

Would that duel pump & rez Be OK to use with the setup I'm planing

I do understand what you mean about the rads.. I would not be able to get a thick rad at the top of the case as i am planing on doing push and pull.

but in side the case at the bottom would be able to change to this

think this would help?

Do you know what size fittings i need??

Am i right for my Setup i need
8x XSPC Coin Fit G1/4 to 3/8 ID 5/8 OD Compression Fitting - Black Chrome

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/X...D-Compression-Fitting-Black-Chrome_18389.html

But what size Hose would you say as i have no idea?? lol

i would say that a thicker rad with one set of fans would beat a thin rad with a single set. provided you have reasonable fans ofcourse.

as for fittings it is really personal preference
please watch ttl's guide it is helpful for tubing and fittings, here is the first vid of the guide

Yep Iv already read that tread :) and seen how the guys have modded my case to do there's

I know if i want i would get easy 2x240mm rads in this case with a bit of work.. witch i'm not afraid to do.. But if i can get away with 1x240mm and 1 x120mm and it cools Cpu & gpu both well im happy.. But duno what temps would be like until their installed which is the pain as i don't have the kit yet :( so i am basically asking what people think for a idea what to buy

well i would advise a minimum of a thick 240 mm rad with also a 120mm.
if you are thinking what i'm thinking with the 2x 240mm rads you would end up with a rig similar to ttl's snow drift rig which had a 1100t and a hd6970. as i said before a thick rad with push is better than a thin rad push pull.

remember when you need to mod a case to be sure you get an attractive end product that will perform well at the end. you don't want to spend all this money and have either poor performance or an ugly rig.

Ok thank you for your help...

Yes i do intend on keeping the case looking smart i will go a head and start ordering stuff soon and update this post as i go along :) like a build log

:) Thanks again.. Was very helpful

i would be interested in a build log, but if you want more people to see it make a new thread in the project log section, not enough people will see it in this thread.

though if you open a new thread please put a link to it here, i'd very much want to see it.
