Hi,

I want to buy anew monitor and I have only two options near my place they are:

AOC i2353ph

http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/aoc_i2353ph.htm

Asus ml239h

http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus_ml239h.htm

After reading the great review from the above site I was unable to decide which monitor to buy. I wont have a chance to try and return.

My needs:

- Coding - Graphics (Photoshop and 3D level design)

- Heavy FPS games (BF3, COD, Unreal III, etc...)

- Watching movies but in the week end only

- To be very comfortable for very long session of work or gaming.

I know the ML239 has a faster response time suitable for games but I like alot the thin of i2353ph, style and also many users of i2353ph reported on the net it is very comfortable and have great colors while it has some blur in fast modern FPS games and fast movie scenes !! I read that in the above reviews and I dont know if the blur is notable for normal eye

Please help me to decide

Thanks for all the help.

Thanks alot guys

Important question if I always play on lower resolution than 1920x1080 (for ex: 1280x1024) do I will still see blur on the AOC ?

Picking a decent monitor can be very difficult. I myself posted a similar thread and in the end I didn't go with anyone's suggestions and took myself to a few stores. It's best to go and try out the monitor yourself before you buy.

I myself ended up going for a HP 2310ei LED Monitor and I have to say it's probably the best I've ever used. It looks slick and doesn't pick up much dust. The colours are really beautiful. When it comes down to it response times and blur I think people can get a little fussy.

The only thing I would change about my monitor now is possibly upgrade to a 26". Only because I use it as a TV a lot of the time.

I was also looking at the AOC when I was trying to decide and i'm so glad I didn't pick it now I have my HP.

Thats my advise to yo anyway

Seriously though it does look awesome, I love how the power brick is mounted on the back, that thing can get really annoying.
