I was thinking whats the point when I have my freeview box already but looking at that makes me think its much better.. Being able to record direct to the playstation would be handy rather than bloody vhs. That said it would mean i'd have to turn the PS3 on every time I wanted to watch tv.

Ye tbh the PS3 does start up pretty fast

Not sure to get one or not...i mean my pc can do more, at better graphics and controllers for FPS games suck.

Me too... Loving my PS3. Downloaded the original Destruction Derby off PSN the other day.. Its aged badly

sticking to my htpc. But i think this is a good move by sony considering the digital switchover here in the uk. It gives people another option.

Ye the good thing about the PS3 is you just grab the biggest laptop drive you can afford and youre away

Yup.. I'm starting to fill up my 60gb... Got about 20gb left. Most of it is demos and videos and various other downloaded stuff from PSN.

Yep I've got the 80GB. I absolutely love my PS3

I have a lot of torrented TV show episodes on mine. Lay in bed and watch'em
