XS have come up with some more first look stuff with DFI sending Lestat the specs and pics of their new board.

The Board: Lanparty UT RDX200 CF-DR

Here's a couple of shots for ya:

It'll have the usual yello UV slots (I wish they had anoher colour...but at least its different)...and PROMISE RAID controller (300) and the usual suspects of goodies....with the added bonus of being fully crossfire complient.

Looks good so far.

The legendary "Genie" BIOS that DFI use...fiddly and full of options :)

Sounds like DFI are putting the memory voltage straight onto the 5v line which means no more cold boot issues (in theory)

That is ONE HOTT BOARD man!! I like the ram placement! :). Kinda neat!

Some people say this chipset is going to rip the nForce a new one, do you think so? I don't lol.

nice lookin bord, but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay outa my reach, altho i wil stick with dfi and there lanparty, i will go for somthing a bit more afordable! the 250GB ut nforce 3 version!

hmm looks like they sorted out the positioning of the chipset a bit better. many of the Ati cards were touching the SLi/ultra boards and this looks like it will be a lot easier to make third party heatsink.

not sure about the ram/cpu switchover. looks like the ram will get the hottest air on theboard and that is hardest to cool.

on another positive note, it seems that this board wont need the extra foppy/molex power connectors (well i cant see them). it may struggle against the ati board though, still interested to see if they sorted out the stability of this chipset.

edit* no 4 pin 12v connector?? how strange. only the 24pin atx.
