Philips BDM4065UC 40" 4K 60Hz

Just to muddy the waters of selecting a new monitor, I noticed the Philips 40" monster on OCUK and Scan.

At last, 4k on a proper screen size! The reviews on OCUK are positive, with good scaling to 1440p for when you run out of grunt to go 4k, amongst the comments.

Anyone on here using one?

My friend uses it and I have to say that I'm extremely impressed by it.
here's what I observed -

-the PPI is perfect without scaling at 4k due to its size
-The lack of AG coating makes the colors "POP". The image is just awesomely vibrant to look at
- Response times are surprisingly good for a monitor that looks like a TV

what I didnt like about the monitor is its size itself. I felt it was huge but my friend says after a weekend he's used to this size and cant go back. I have to add that gaming on that was very immersive despite being 60hz and lacking gsync and things like that.

oh its very good alright.. If fast paced gaming isnt your priority, then look no further.
This monitor makes those 21:9 3440*1440 resolution ultrawide monitors obsolete.
