Just wondering if anyone here has tested the Phanteks coolers? ive seen a number of reviews putting it a notch ahead of the NH-D14 and wondering if its true?

For the compatibility issues it causes, and for only the potential marginal gains of 1 or 2 degrees - it isnt really worth it at all.
Especially as it's louder and more expensive. Just stick to the D14

i´d choose the d14

the difference is minimal really just a bit less performance than the d14 but it's louder go for the d14 unless you want the looks of the fanteks

They are pretty much similar in performance. Some reviews have the D-14 edging the win whilst some have the Phantek winning.
