Haha lol, so much hate in this thread, although everyone is right to their own opinions.

He has done what no one else has ever done though... Becoming the biggest channel on Youtube and also becoming a millionaire from it.

Haha I was about to say the same, but you were faster.

Can't say that I'm much into his content either, but each to their own.

And it seems it's totally gone to his head.

You won't understand it dude but famous when I grew up meant you had to be incredibly talented and very good at what you did. These days any old pleb can become famous and they don't know how to handle it.

They're even offering courses these days for football players to go on to teach them how to handle the money and cash.

But yeah, "talent" these days has been completely destroyed by shows like X factor and Britain(insertyourcountryhere)'s got talent.

Bands like Radiohead have been screwed into the ground because they refused to let a record company make more money than them (which is fair enough given they do the effing work) and knob holes from the Xfactor are all over the place, constantly rammed down our throats.

I do understand what you mean, but it's not those days when we grew up anymore dude... It's 2017 now.

Of cause there is most people over the age of 21 don't like him at all.

I think most of his fan base (If you can call them that) are made up of like teens or something.

Still makes me wonder about the Sub count, I wouldn't be shock to find out sometime down the line that he brought at least half of that Sub account.

Yeah he might have 35 million or whatever sub but how many views does he really get like 7 to 10 million views, A lot of those Subs now could be Zombie subs or subs that don't or can't be bothered to log into YouTube now since it's sooo broken.

It's not really hate it's just that his content caters to pre-teen kids who still find fart jokes funny ^_^

2017 doesn't really have anything to do with it, Trends always repeat themselves.

Of course there are several people that don't like him, noone can be liked by everyone dude.

And he has almost 50 million subs btw ;)

I do find him funny and I'm not really a "teen kid".

No? I do think so... Cause considering what AlienALX wrote regarding when he grew up, it was talent. And now when it's 2017, you don't seem to need a real "talent" to be famous on the internet. Just look at PewDiePie and so many other Youtube channels I'm sure of it as well.

So yes, I do still stand by what I said... As before it was real talent that got you famous, now you can do some lame ass jokes in a vid and become rich on Youtube basically.

Cause that's basically what you all been saying in this thread anyway, or atleast how I understood it all :)

Well you have to remember that if Youtube wasn't around people like him would just be doing jobs that cater to their skill base.

Trends are the same now as they were in the middle ages, If PDP was alive 1000 years ago he would have been a court jester/fool ^_^

I'm sorry but nearly all of those 50 million are idiots who don't even know what is good, I don't know how people can laugh at his crap videos.

Agree he's nothing but a court jester, TBH he's not even that funny if he was alive 1000 years ago he would have had his head chop off cause the King or Queen at the time probably wouldn't have found him funny....Yeah i went there.

This is the problem YouTube was never meant be what it is now, It all changed once Google brought YouTube and companies could see there was money to be made.

YouTube was never meant to promote idiots like PDP, Yes PDP is not the only one there are hundreds of other idiots like him.

The thing is, he may have 50 million subs but his views are 2-4 million yes a high view rate but considering his subs only 6% actually view his stuff regularly.

Pretty much the standard for any youtube channel.

Yeah, viewership for Youtube content is a lot lower than subscriber count. So many dead accounts and non-active users.

Yeah, that's why i think it's complete BS, TBH even someone with 1 million subs doesn't get 1 million views.

That's why i said i wouldn't be shock if we found out that he payed for Subs, I think you can do it for Twitter and i think you still can for Twitch unless that's been changed. If none to both maybe everything with those 2 has been changed.

Pretty much the standard for any youtube channel.

Yeah pretty much
