pent d 945 3.4 cold bug ?

I have somthing wierd its really cold in house so my pentd is idleing 18c and only hits 30c full load but has gotten unstable above 4.21ghz now i was running 4.28ghz stable now if i go up to that i dont get a post some times.

Cold bug doesnt really work like that, you could be experiencing a bad vdroop. Try upping your vcore a bit.

at first i thought i waset drooping but now i got a wierd droop starts normal and longer the load more it droops all way down to 1.09 lol maybe thats why it runs so cool lol.

If you don't mind I wonder what PCU cooler you use? I got that chip as well even not overclock at all it about 42 at full load. The vdroop that the problem for overclock, how can I prevent it?

the p5p800se had to be reading temps wrong but befor it acted up running 4.25ghz with a droop mod keeping droop at 1.30 it was around 55c max. My new board has major droop but i can get 4.25ghz sending 1.36 and 4.51ghz at 1.46 need better cooling for 4.51 24 7. and to get 4.70ghz i have to

1.70 to it note it has a .200-.300 droop on each setting.
